Welcome to Mudslingers Pottery School and Gallery!

920 Main St Louisville, CO

The potters craft has a long and wonderful history; it traces the history of civilization itself. Mudslingers Pottery School's history only dates back to 1997. Founder and principal potter, John Hansen, is celebrating his 40th anniversary of working in clay. John's experience in teaching, making pottery, and people is evident in Mudslingers' teaching style and the quality of work produced. Class sizes range from 5 to 10 students in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The studio setting in Old Town Louisville Art District offers convenience, parking and great restaurants.
Mudslingers experienced teachers and member staff offer hands-on assistance and inspiration for making functional, whimsical, and sculptural ceramic pieces. Frequent firings of our high-fire stoneware kilns allow students to see on-going results. This Spring Mudslingers will be expanding outside the studio with a gas kiln and work area. Join us, for a lesson, a class, or studio sessions and experience the joy of the creative process in clay.
